The official website of Poonithura Public Library—a community library in Kerala affiliated with the Kerala State Library Council—was developed as an interactive digital platform to support library members, staff, and local readers. The website highlights core functions such as online membership, event listings, announcements, and resource updates, all delivered through a clean, mobile-responsive interface.

Dynamic Membership & Content Management
Admins can manage library details—including membership forms, e-book/audiobook listings, newsletters, member directories, and “About Us” info—through a secure backend without code changes.
Event, Programs & News Module
The site features regularly updated announcements about literary events (“Sargasandhya”), seminars, workshops, reading competitions, and social campaigns, all manageable via the CMS.
Resource & Media Listing
Showcases library holdings (20,000+ books, periodicals, limited e-book collection), membership benefits, facility details, and reading spaces—presented through accessible, filtered content.
Secure Forms & Inquiries
Integrated online membership registration and contact forms with AJAX-based submission, complete with validation and spam protection, enhance user access.
Responsive Design & Interactivity
Built using Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX, the website adapts smoothly across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Dynamic content loading—like event filters and form submissions—delivers a frictionless experience.

Collaborated with library stakeholders to define content structure: membership, events, program listings, resources
Designed and built a Bootstrap-powered theme aligned with community-library branding
Developed custom backend modules (PHP + MySQL) for managing books, events, membership, and announcements
Enhanced UX with AJAX-driven forms and content updates
Implemented secure input validation, spam protection, and HTTPS deployment
Ensured fast load times and cross-device compatibility
