The Palliyampuram Sree Mahadeva Kshetram, located near Ramapuram in Kottayam district, is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Known for its traditional Kerala-style architecture featuring a chathura sree kovil, nalambalam, namaskara mandapam, kodimaram, and temple pond, the site attracts both local devotees and Sabarimala pilgrims. It offers annual festivals like Maha Shivaratri, with rich cultural processions and elephant-mounted ceremonies

🎯 Our Role & Contributions
Collaboration: Partnered with temple committee to define site structure including history, rituals, pilgrim services, events, and media
Design & UX: Crafted a clean, culturally resonant theme with Bootstrap, emphasizing legibility and heritage
Backend Development: Created PHP/MySQL modules for managing updates, seva schedules, and volunteer data
AJAX Integration: Enabled smooth form submissions, event listings, and data validation
Security & Performance: Implemented spam protection, HTTPS, and optimized page loading for pilgrimage info

The temple's website now serves as an engaging digital touchpoint—welcoming devotees, pilgrims, and volunteers. It effectively communicates rituals, services, and facilities, while enabling temple staff to update content independently and improve community outreach.
