📌 Project Overview
The Mudiyettu Sangam website, represents a collective effort to preserve and promote Mudiyettu—a traditional ritualistic art form of Kerala recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The website functions as a digital archive, awareness platform, and communication hub for artists, researchers, and cultural enthusiasts. It was designed to celebrate the art’s depth, support artist networks, and inform the public about performances, history, and preservation initiatives.

A richly illustrated section that explores the origins, evolution, and symbolism of Mudiyettu. Includes write-ups, documentary references, and explanations of characters and ritual elements.

🧑‍🎤 Artist Profiles & Sangam Members
Dedicated pages for listing key performers, gurus, and members of the Mudiyettu Sangam—complete with bios, photos, and traditional roles in the performance.

🗓️ Event Announcements & Performance Calendar
Regular updates on upcoming Mudiyettu performances, temple schedules, training workshops, and public events—organized in a calendar format.

📷 Gallery & Video Archives
Extensive image and video libraries showcasing stage performances, temple rituals, costume preparations, and cultural outreach programs—filterable by year and event.

📜 Preservation & Documentation Initiatives

📱 Responsive Layout & UI
The site is fully responsive using Bootstrap, offering an accessible experience across devices. jQuery enhances gallery transitions, accordions for FAQs, and real-time event updates.

🧩 Cultural Structuring & Content Planning
Partnered with community elders and cultural coordinators to gather authentic content, visuals, and event data—ensuring accurate representation of the Mudiyettu tradition.

🎨 Thematic UI/UX Design
Developed a design that pays homage to Kerala’s temple aesthetics—featuring earthy tones, ornamental borders, and traditional motifs that reflect the cultural context.

🔧 Dynamic Content Modules
Built backend tools in PHP/MySQL for managing performance calendars, member profiles, media uploads, and announcements—designed for easy updates by Sangam coordinators.

🔁 jQuery & AJAX Features
Used AJAX for non-reloading content updates and smooth gallery transitions. Added lightbox views, tabbed navigation, and real-time event posting tools.

🔐 Security & Performance
Enabled HTTPS encryption, secured all submission points, and optimized media to maintain fast load times without compromising quality.

The Mudiyettu Sangam website is now a vibrant digital platform for cultural preservation, bridging traditional art with modern access.
