Project Description
The Cashless Canteen Management System is a smart payment solution designed to streamline transactions in a campus canteen environment using RFID card technology. This application eliminates the need for cash transactions, enabling users (students, staff, or faculty) to make secure and quick payments similar to using an ATM or debit card.
Key Features:
RFID-Based Payment System: Each user is issued an RFID-enabled card linked to their account. Users can make payments at the canteen by simply tapping their card on the RFID reader, reducing wait times and improving operational efficiency.
Recharge Anywhere on Campus: The RFID card can be recharged from any designated location within the campus, such as admin offices, kiosks, or even through a mobile/web interface (optional). This ensures flexibility and convenience for all users.
User Account Management: Each card is tied to a user profile that maintains transaction history, available balance, and recharge records. This enhances transparency and personal financial control.
Admin Panel: A secure backend interface allows canteen administrators to:
Manage menu items and prices
Track sales and generate reports
Monitor recharge logs
View user activity
Security & Authentication: The system includes secure login for admins and user validation via RFID to prevent unauthorized usage or fraud.
